Cookie Policy
Effective date: 7 October 2026
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so that the site can recognise the same browser on a later visit. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: localStorage and sessionStorage keep values in the browser, tracking pixels report a page view by loading a tiny image from somewhere else, and fingerprinting identifies a browser from the combination of settings it reveals.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. freshmotive.online sets no cookies of its own, for any purpose, including preferences and session identifiers.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. No third party can set a cookie through these pages, because no third-party content is loaded on any of them.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to it, which is why the checklists do not remember which boxes you have ticked.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept between pages or within a visit.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There is no measurement image, beacon or conversion tag on any page.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We run no script that reads fonts, canvas, screen or device characteristics to identify a browser.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The pages use fonts already on your device and one small script of our own, served from this domain, which operates the menu and the print button.
- Server access logs
- Used. This is the only entry on the list that is in use, and it is described below.
Why there is no cookie banner
There is nothing to consent to. A banner asking you to accept cookies on a site that sets none would be a misleading statement about what the site does, and we would rather the absence of a banner be the honest signal that it is.
What does happen when you open a page
Your browser asks our hosting provider for the page, and that request is written to an access log: the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and used for security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Nothing else happens. The Privacy Policy describes the handling in full.
The checklists do not remember anything
The boxes beside each checklist item are drawn with CSS. They are not form controls, they cannot be ticked on screen, and no record of your progress through the course exists anywhere — not in a cookie, not in localStorage or sessionStorage, not in IndexedDB, and not on our server. Printing the checklists page and using a pen is the intended method.
After you follow an affiliate link
Two pages of the course contain a paid link to the Star Stable Online website. Once you follow it you are on somebody else's site, and that site, together with the affiliate network that operates the link, may set cookies on their own domains to record where the visit came from. Favorit idea s.r.o. does not control those cookies and cannot see or remove them. If you want to know what they do, their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to look.
Blocking or clearing cookies in general
Every current browser lets you see which sites have stored cookies, delete them individually or all at once, and block them in advance. The controls are usually under a privacy or site-data heading in the browser's settings, and most browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards everything at the end of the session. Blocking cookies entirely will have no effect on this site, since it sets none, but it may stop other sites working as they expect.
If this ever changes
We do not intend to introduce cookies. If that ever changed, this page would be rewritten and published first, with the effective date updated, and a working consent mechanism would be in place before any cookie was set — not afterwards.
