Affiliate Disclosure

Effective date: 7 October 2026

Fresh Motive is free to read, carries no advertising and sells nothing. It is paid for in one way: affiliate commission. This page sets out exactly how that works, because a reader deciding whether to trust a course is entitled to know who pays for it before they get to the end.

The arrangement in one paragraph

Favorit idea s.r.o. takes part in an affiliate programme for the online game Star Stable Online. Two pages of the course — Step 2 and Step 4 — contain a link to that game's website. If you follow one of those links and sign up, the affiliate network that operates the link pays Favorit idea s.r.o. a commission. The programme material states that commission arises on sign-up, on first play and on purchases.

What it costs you

Nothing. Following a paid link does not change the price of anything, and whatever the vendor charges is the same whether you arrive through our link, through a search, or by typing the address yourself. The commission is paid by the network out of its own arrangement with the vendor.

Where the paid links are, and how to spot them

There are three paid links on this site: one on the homepage, one in Step 2 and one in Step 4. Every one of them carries a line of normal-sized text immediately beside it saying that it is a paid affiliate link, and every one of them opens in a new tab and points directly at the destination address — you can see where it goes by resting on it and reading your browser's status bar. No link on this site is disguised, shortened, redirected through our own domain or rewritten when you click it.

What the commission does not decide

It does not decide what the course says. The five steps describe a method — understand the category, measure your own requirements, read the vendor's documents, set up carefully, review monthly — and that method works identically for every online game. Nothing in the course tells you to buy anything, several parts of it tell you how to spend nothing, and the whole course can be completed, checklists included, without following a paid link at all.

It does not decide what we claim about the product. The facts stated here about Star Stable Online are limited to what the programme material actually says: that it is an online game, and that commission is paid on sign-up, first play and purchases. Where the vendor does not state something — requirements, prices, classification, content — the course says so rather than filling the gap, and sends you to the vendor.

What does decide the content

The sequence of the steps comes from the order in which decisions actually arrive in a household. The general material comes from published Australian sources — the Australian Cyber Security Centre, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the OAIC, the ACCC and the Australian Classification Board — which are linked at the point where they are used, so you can check them rather than take our word for it. The product-specific material comes from the vendor and from nowhere else.

The honest part is this: the reason Star Stable Online is the product named in this course, rather than some other title, is the commercial relationship. We are not going to present that as an independent recommendation, because it is not one. What we can promise is that the relationship stops at the naming — it does not reach into the advice, and the advice would be the same without it.

What we do not do

We publish no ratings, scores, rankings, awards or test results. We carry no reader reviews, quotes or testimonials, because a publisher with a commercial interest in a product cannot carry those honestly. The worked example running through the course is an invented household, labelled as such, and it reports no results with any product.

Trade marks

All brand names on Fresh Motive, Star Stable Online among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Fresh Motive, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
